The Benham and Reeves study delved into the numbers, comparing average rental portfolio incomes in the first quarters of 2022 and 2023. Their findings? Even with a decline in portfolio sizes by 5.6%, the average rent value per property has risen sharply by 15.1%. This has culminated in the average landlord witnessing their annual portfolio income grow from £67,304 to £73,186, marking a noteworthy increase of 8.7%.
