City Search has identified three postcodes in Bristol as offering particularly attractive opportunities for investors:

  • BS13: This up-and-coming area in the south-west has an average property price of £269,000 and a growth rate of 5.9%. It’s a popular choice for young professionals and families, with rental yields reaching 5.4% and total returns of 11.2%.
  • BS4: Known for its vibrant amenities and green spaces, BS4 has an average property price of £312,083 and a growth rate of 5.2%. With a rental yield of 4.8% and total returns of 10.1%, this postcode is attracting a diverse range of buyers.
  • BS11: This area, close to Avonmouth and Shirehampton, offers properties at an average price of £265,000 with a growth rate of 5.5%. It stands out with a strong rental yield of 5.7% and total returns of 11.2%. This is thanks to its proximity to employment hubs and the Bristol Port, making it a hot spot for investors.

Bristol’s Economic Engine

Bristol’s thriving economy is another major draw for investors. It boasts one of the strongest economies in the UK, with a diverse range of industries and a robust employment market. The city has an average wage of £29,500, which is higher than the national average.
