According to a study conducted by Rightmove, Victorian homes are not the only period properties capturing the hearts of home hunters. Georgian properties come in second, admired for their grandeur and symmetry, followed by Edwardian homes, which are prized for their lighter, airier feel compared to their predecessors. The fourth most popular are Tudor homes, known for their distinctive timber-framed exteriors, with Regency homes rounding out the top five, celebrated for their elegant and formal aesthetics.

He advises that while many British consumers cherish the history and character that come with such homes, they must also be cognisant of the challenges they might face, such as issues with roofing or windows.
