House prices in the Wirral witnessed a significant increase in March, rising by 2.6%—a figure that stands above the average growth rate for the broader North West region. This increase is part of a consistent upward trend in the local property market, with an annual growth rate of 4.3%.

The average house price in the Wirral was recorded at £214,235 in March, marking a substantial monthly increase of 2.6% from February, based on data from the Land Registry. This growth in the Wirral starkly contrasts with the overall North West, where prices rose by only 1.1%, and far exceeds the UK-wide increase of 0.7%.

Over the past year, the average sale price of property in the Wirral rose by £8,900, ranking it sixth among the North West’s 35 local authorities for annual property price growth.
